  • Islamic Financial Research is an open-access journal, meaning that all articles are immediately accessible on the journal’s website to readers worldwide upon publication. All content published in this journal is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license. Under this framework, authors retain the copyright to their work while granting others the right to download, reuse, print, distribute, or copy the content, provided that proper attribution is given and the work is not used for commercial purposes.

Copyright Statement

 

  • Authors retain the copyright of their work published in Islamic Financial Research. In the case of multi-authored articles, the corresponding author acts as the representative of all co-authors in exercising this right.

  • Article Submission and Publication Fees: Submission, peer review, and acceptance of manuscripts in Islamic Financial Research are entirely free of charge. No fees are levied on authors for submission, peer review, or publication of their articles.

  • Subscription Fees: As an open-access journal, Islamic Financial Research does not charge any subscription fees to readers or the general public.

  • Advertising: The journal does not engage in any advertising-based financial activities or related commercial promotions.

  • Financial Support: The Securities and Exchange Organization serves as the financial sponsor of Islamic Financial Research.


 

Plagiarism Policy
  • Plagiarism, including the deliberate use of others’ original ideas or data without proper credit or citation, is strictly prohibited. Islamic Financial Research considers copying even a single sentence from another author’s work—or from the author’s own previously published work—without appropriate citation as plagiarism.
  • All manuscripts submitted to the journal are rigorously checked for plagiarism using tools such as Crossref, iThenticate, and Samim Noor. Authors are expected to screen their manuscripts for potential plagiarism prior to submission. While submission of a similarity report by authors is not mandatory, the journal conducts independent similarity checks on all submissions.
  • If plagiarism is detected during the peer-review process, the manuscript will be rejected. Should plagiarism be discovered after publication, the journal reserves the right to take necessary actions, including issuing a corrective notice or retracting the article, with details published on the journal’s website. Additionally, the journal reserves the right to notify the authors’ affiliated institutions of any confirmed plagiarism, regardless of whether it is identified before or after publication.

Backup and Indexing Policy

 

  • Islamic Financial Research maintains regular backups of all published content and databases to ensure data integrity. All articles are indexed in major national and international databases, including ISC, SID, Magiran, Noormags, Civilica, Ensani, DOAJ, and Google Scholar.
